Press Release: NC Angler Rob Digh from Denver NC takes 19th at BASS Federation Nation National Championship at Shreve Port LA October 29th, 2010

NC BASS Federation Nation Angler Rob Digh from Denver NC competed in the BASS Federation Nation National Championship this past Wednesday (10/27), Thursday (10/28) and Friday (10/29) in Shreve Port Louisiana. On the line was a Brand New Skeeter/Yamaha valued at $60,000 and the Ultimate goal, a berth to the 2011 BASS MASTER CLASSIC! Rob had qualified by winning the NC BASS Federation Nation Western Qualifier Full on Lake Norman in May 2009 advancing to the BASS Federation Nation Southern Division on West Point Lake in April 2010. Rob placed second in that divisional but was the highest finisher of the NC qualifiers there allowing him to advance to the BASS Federation Nation National Championship. Rob had a tough Day 1 sitting in 29th place after day 1. Rob had a good bag of fish on Day 2 to move him from 29th to 13th place. Day 3 would be tough on the whole field and Rob would drop to 19th in the final standings falling about eight pounds short of a Bass Master Classic berth. Congrats to Rob Digh!!
