NC BASS Nation Announces KAYAK SERIES
Press Release: “NEW” NC BASS Nation Kayak Series
The NC BASS Nation is excited to present its “KAYAK SERIES”. As a member, you can qualify for the 2020 B.A.S.S. National Regional event which could put you on the Classic stage in conjunction with the 2021 Bassmaster CLASSIC.
All competitors must be a paid B.A.S.S. member, B.A.S.S. Nation member ($30) and NC Bass Nation member ($15) before entering the event. Competitors must be willing to provide proof of membership at time of sign up.
In 2020, we will have one qualifying event to be held on Shearon Harris Lake on Saturday September 26, 2020. In 2021, we expect to have two Qualifiers and Wildcard tournament for advancement to regionals, 1 east, 1 west, and 1 wildcard tournament. The top 2 members from each east and west qualifier will advance to the BASS National Regional. 1 member from the wildcard will advance. Entry fee for each qualifier will be broken down as follows. 100 dollar per competitor. 80% payback. 20% goes to tournament usage fees and the NC Bass Nation Kayak series.
All competitors must have access to the Tourney X app and are currently signed up with the app. This app will be used to track inches of fish as well as placement in the tournament. Entry fees will be paid by either PayPal, Cashapp, Venmo,Square, Or cash in advance of tournament a minimum of 2 weeks in advance. Prize payout will be done utilizing cash at conclusion of tournament. All members will utilize a bump board certified for use by B.A.S.S officials.
The schedule for the 2020 year is as follows:
September – 26th-Shearon Harris- Eastern Qualifier
November 21, 2020 -Lake Chickamauga- B.A.S.S. Regional Qualifier
